Angela Thorns is a Senior Analyst within the Conduct Supervision function at the Malta Financial Services Authority and forms part of the team responsible for the implementation of the reform to the Company Service Providers Act. She graduated as Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta in 2002 and advanced her academic studies by reading for a Master of Arts in Financial Services, graduating in 2004. Since 2002 Angela has practised in corporate and financial services law. Throughout her career she has worked with law firms and corporate service providers, both locally and internationally, advising on corporate, commercial and regulatory compliance issues.
