[ONLINE] The New AML Regulations – ensuring a Smooth Transition – 24 July

The course will examine the upcoming new AML regulations, also known as ‘The AML Package’ including the new “Single Rulebook” that will come into force in 2027. The session will help professionals understand the updated regulations, including those regulations that are already in force, such as the Transfer of Funds (TFR) regulation. The new AML Authority and its corresponding regulation will also be discussed. This includes the type of entities that may be exposed to direct supervision from such a new authority. The session is ideal for MLROs, Compliance Officers, Risk Officers and sole practitioners who qualify as subject persons under the current regime or who will qualify as ‘obliged entities’ under the new regime in 2027.
