This training is designed to provide non-lawyers with a foundational understanding of employment law in Malta. It aims to equip participants with essential knowledge of the legal framework governing employment relationships, employee rights, and employer obligations.

Throughout this training, participants will explore key topics, including:

– Overview of Maltese employment law

– Key legislation affecting employment relationships

– Employee rights and employer responsibilities

– Understanding contracts of employment

– Termination of employment: procedures and legal considerations

– Anti-discrimination laws and workplace equality

– Brief overview of Occupational Health and Safety rules

This course is ideal for HR professionals, managers, and anyone involved in the hiring and management of personnel who wishes to enhance their understanding of legal principles in the Maltese context.

Qualifies for  4 CPE Professional hours under the core competency area.
